Golf in Pattaya

By Tim Paemi · Updated 27 June 2026 · No sponsors, no paid placements

Pattaya is one of Asia's great golf bases — 20-plus championship courses within an hour, professional caddies as standard, and green fees a fraction of what you'd pay back home. Here's the overview before you book a round.

The short version

The courses

Within about an hour you've got more than 20 courses, several of international tournament standard — Siam Country Club, Burapha, Phoenix Gold, Laem Chabang, Khao Kheow and many more — from resort-style layouts to championship venues. It's enough variety to fill a multi-day golf trip without repeating a course.

Fees, caddies & when to play

Green fees run roughly ฿1,500–4,000+ depending on course, day and season. A caddie is standard in Thailand (caddie fee plus a customary tip), and you can rent clubs and carts. Play is year-round, but the cool-dry season (Nov–Feb) is most comfortable. Book ahead, especially for the marquee courses and weekends.
