Is Pattaya nightlife safe?

For most visitors it's safe and good-natured, but use normal big-night-out sense: agree taxi and baht-bus prices before you ride, keep an eye on your drink and your belongings, watch your bar bill, and avoid getting heavily intoxicated alone. The zones

LK Metro and Soi Buakhao are buzzy bar clusters slightly inland; Soi 6 is its own well-known daytime-into-night strip. Along Beach Road you'll find open-air beer bars, while rooftop bars offer a calmer, view-led night. Down in Jomtien, the scene is smaller and more relaxed.

Timing & getting home
