The three seasons

Cool-dry (Nov–Feb) is the sweet spot — sunny, lower humidity, the busiest tourist months. Hot (Mar–May) brings the year's peak heat and the Songkran water festival. Rainy/green (Jun–Oct) is humid with heavy but often short downpours; Pattaya's Gulf-coast position keeps it drier than Phuket through much of this period.
